"On Sunday the 5th inst. Bro. and Sister C. K. Dudley followed their youngest child to its last resting place. The little one has suffered a great deal. The young life on earth has been cut short but has just begun in heaven. The funeral occurred at Union church, seven miles west of Crawford, the writer conducting the services. Death is always sad, but a Christian father and mother are not without hope of meeting the little innocents again. Cheer up, dear brother and sister. The Father doeth all things well. There's another jewel in heaven, one more incentive for earnest, consecrated lives on earth to be ready for that sweet day of meeting over yonder. [signed] J. H. Bush."
