Molly died unexpectedly of natural
causes on 11/04/05. She was 26.
Her death devastates the family that loved her: parents Paula and Paul; brothers Spiros, Alex, Sam, Abe; An incredible network of friends loved Molly, too: everyone she worked with at Midway Training Services, where she was a human services professional; and at Courage Center; her longtime circle of pals; the St. Luke's crowd; and the three-quarters of St. Paul somehow linked to the Gleesons. Born in Monroe, Mich., on Feb. 10, 1979, Molly moved to St. Paul in 1985. She faced a lifetime of challenges, including suffering a stroke when she was 6, and she worked hard to succeed as a student, athlete, coach and independent young woman. With cell phone and bus pass in hand, and her great big smile and undeniable honesty, nothing stopped Molly from just living her life. She loved movies and Starbucks Frappuccinos and going out with her friends, but she was happiest hanging out with her family. Whether watching Sam on stage or Abe playing ball or sitting with Alex at Sunday dinner on Fairmount Avenue, Molly loved being a Gleeson.
