Mrs. Golightly died Sept. 21, 1990, at a Tulsa nursing home. She was born Sept. 1, 1899, in Pontotoc County, to Nim and Beulah Davis Elmore.
She attended Ahlosa Schools and moved to Tulsa in December 1985 from Ada. She attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Nell Caldwell and Betty Byrd, both of Tulsa; a brother, Irvin Elmore, Ada; three sisters, Ruby Abbott, Ada, Bessie James Hamilton, Clarita, and Opal Lee, Montgomery, Alabama; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, L. H. Golightly, in 1985.
Bearers include Ross Caldwell, Tony Caldwell, Barrett Byrd, Mark Caldwell, Richard Byrd Jr. and Steve Elmore.
