Erin Melanie (Hampton) Rosane died at her home in Kent Washington, Friday November 1, 2013 with husband Steve at her side. She was taken from those who love her, far too soon, by the devastating effects and treatment of cervical cancer.

Our sweet Erin, whose beautiful brown eyes, infectious laughter and quick wit could light up the room, was born in Richland Washington on September 14, 1971 and grew up in Pasco, graduating from Pasco High School in 1988. She worked at Zips Drive-in and WPPSS before moving to eastern Washington where she and Steve eventually settled in Kent. During those years she raised her sons Harrisen and Max and worked at various jobs including day care, in schools, as a personal assistant and a personal shopper (one of her favorites), and for Amazon. Her family and friends were the center of her world and involvement in their boys' sports pursuits brought her much joy. She enjoyed playing cards, bunko, watching sports, and Fantasy Football. Both guys and gals marveled at her knowledge and expertise in these things. She loved her Seahawks!

I could fill a hundred pages with stories of how her far too short life impacted those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a trail of broken hearts and we will never be the same without her. We rest in knowing she is with our Savior Jesus, but until we join her we will miss her sorely.

Erin was preceded in death by grandparents Jack and Edyth Hampton and cousin Zack Hiner.

Erin is survived by her husband Steve; sons Harrisen and Maxwell; parents Frank Case and Janice HamptonCase; brothers Isaac Case (Kasey Dearinger) and Jordan (Shannon) Case; grandmother Marjorie Case; niece River Case; nephews Garret and Taiton Gillespie; Cousins Dennis Hiner and his children Lindsey and Dylan, Jessica (Jarred) McDonald and Sarah Hampton and her daughter Amiah Woods; aunts Julia (John) Schmidt, Judith Hampton, Jennifer Derrick and uncle John (Shelly) Hampton and family pooch "Chewie". Special thanks to loving and faithful friend Virgie Mantz, Suzy (Penny) Mertz, Kris Njos and Cindy Yokoyama ... forgive me for those I failed to mention.

A memorial service will be held at the Edline-Yahn Funeral Chapel (www.eycfh.com) 156th Ave SE, Covington, Washington on Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 P.M.
