Harry C. Weigand, 75, died September 5, 1984 at Akron General Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born in Suffield and had been an Akron area resident his entire life. He was employed by the Klein Trucking Co. for over 15 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Mr. Weigand is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine; his sons, William of Akron, Rev. Joseph of Elyria, Richard of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Bernard of Jackson Twp.; his daughters, Sr. Barbara of Taylor, Mich., Mrs. Jerry (Mary Ann) LaRocca of Jackson Twp., and Dora of Mogadore; his brothers, Herman of Barberton, Claude of Randolph and Sylvester of Uniontown; his sisters, Agnes Klein of Brimfield, Marie Winkler of Rootstown and Francis Pierce of Mogadore; nine grandchildren; and was preceded in death by his son, Gregory in 1941.
