George D. Davis of E. Court Street in San Bernardino, died Friday in a San Bernardino hospital at the age of 87. He was a native of Utah and had been a resident of San Bernardino and California 23 years. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by one son, David V. Davis, of San Bernardino; one brother, C. A. Davis of Casper, Wyoming; one sister, Mrs. Mae Flaherty of Long Beach, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Mark B. Shaw Chapel. Interment will be in the Montecito Memorial Park Cemetery.

He married Margaret Eleanor Davis of Idaho on May 15, 1894 in Montpelier, Idaho and they had six children together. He died in San Bernardino, California on October 11, 1957
