Mary was born December 2, 1858 in Meadville, a daughter of Samuel Hays and Christina Foster Thompson.
Mr. Gaskill is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Frank Work of West Haven, Conn; Mrs. Emma Beebe of Ovid Mich.; Miss Harriet Thompson of Meadville; one brother William Thompson of Meadville.
She was the mother of five children all living. Earl D. Gaskill of Buffalo; Mrs. J. Mark Hale of Berkley, California; Mrs. H. A. Kellogg of Hornell, New York; Bert Gaskill of Fairbanks. Alaska; Robert Gaskill of Meadville.
Mrs. Gaskill was a loyal member of Park Avenue Congregational Church for many years. Services will be held there with interment at Greendale Cemetery.
