Mrs. Mary Gaskill, wife of Isaac Shelby Gaskill, passed away at 12:10 on Christmas morning at her home. She had been in extreme weakness for many months and her departure had been expected for several weeks.
Mary was born December 2, 1858 in Meadville, a daughter of Samuel Hays and Christina Foster Thompson.
Mr. Gaskill is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Frank Work of West Haven, Conn; Mrs. Emma Beebe of Ovid Mich.; Miss Harriet Thompson of Meadville; one brother William Thompson of Meadville.
She was the mother of five children all living. Earl D. Gaskill of Buffalo; Mrs. J. Mark Hale of Berkley, California; Mrs. H. A. Kellogg of Hornell, New York; Bert Gaskill of Fairbanks. Alaska; Robert Gaskill of Meadville.
Mrs. Gaskill was a loyal member of Park Avenue Congregational Church for many years. Services will be held there with interment at Greendale Cemetery.
