Gerald W. Canfield, 70, Beverly Hills, Fla., died Jan. 4, 2014, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Gerald was born Sept. 28, 1943, in Monroe, Wis., to the late George W. and Maxine (Linn) Canfield. Gerald was an 11th grade English teacher for Hillsborough County School system for over 45 years. He was an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan and enjoyed collecting baseball cards.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, David G. Canfield, Tallahassee; sisters, Susan (Wayne) Bass, Beverly Hills and Sara Ann August, Chula Vista, Calif.; nephew, Bill (Martha) Bass; and niece, Libby (Tad) Jones of Floral City.
