He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth F. Dudding of Eagle Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Carl Michael (Mike) and Kathy Dudding of Eagle Rock; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Jerry Dupree of Buchanan, and Margaret and Earl Huffman of Madison Heights, and a sister-in-law, Louise C. Dudding of Lynchburg.
He was a retired CSX engineer and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eagle Rock Funeral Home. The funeral will be in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, February 3, 1997, with burial in Eagle Rock Cemetery. Memorial donations to Eagle Rock Rescue Squad or the American Heart Association would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Eagle Rock Funeral Home
