Larry was born July 26, 1952 in Stoutland, MO to Sherman O. & Floy O. (Lee) Lyon. Larry was a bricklayer by trade, working in commercial construction. He was a Baptist by faith and attended Cross Creek Baptist Church in Oak Grove, MO.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Sherman & Floy Lyon; 2 sisters: Dorothy Barcher, Judy Lunceford; 2 brothers: Donald Lyon, Bob Lyon.
Larry is survived by 3 daughters: Melinda Durham of Oak Grove, MO, Bridget Durham (Hal) of Grain Valley, MO, Brandi Weaver (Bobby) of Kansas City, MO; 1 son: Jason Lyon (Crystal) of St. Joseph, MO; 2 brothers: Pete Lyon (Debbie) of Blue Springs, MO, Jacky Lyon (Betty) of Lone Jack, MO; 12 grandchildren.
