Born in Pittsburgh April 2, 1907, she was a daughter of John S. and Mary Flanagan Gallagher.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Butler Savings and Trust as an elevator operator during World War II.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Saylor, who died Aug. 28, 1965.
SAYLOR - There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Esther G. "Auntie" Saylor, who died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Connoquenessing.
Christian Mothers and St. Paul's Guild will meet at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the Rosary.
Arrangements are being handled by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
