Rosalie V. Bledsoe 80, of Linton, passed away at 2:18 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton.
Born June 23, 1922, in Sullivan, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mattie Gott.
She was a nurse's aide at Greene County General Hospital, retiring in 1989. She attended Bible Baptist Church in Dugger.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Maxwell of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Kenneth Maxwell of Linton; one daughter, Kaye Maxwell of Bloomington; two step-sons, Fred Bledsoe of Washington and Larry Bledsoe of California; one step-daughter, Linda Burns of Linton; two grandchildren, Kenny Maxwell of Atlanta, Ga., and Mike Ramsey of Bloomington; three great-grandchildren, Gary and Tawny Ramsey and Kayli Lewis; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Maxwell, in 1966; second husband, Loren Bledsoe, in 1994; two grandchildren, Karen Anne and Patty Ramsey; and her parents.
Funeral services will be at Anderson-Poindexter Linton Memory Chapel at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Steven Talpas officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
