There will be no funeral services or visitation for James W. Plog, 66, of East Moline. Burial will be at a later date at Robinson Cemetery in Pocahontas, Ill. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
James died Jan. 15, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
James Willis Plog was born Aug. 15, 1940, on a farm in Bond County, Ill., the son of Otis and Lucille Glock Plog. He married Patricia Kersey in 1963. She preceded him in death in 1977.
He worked at John Deere, Moline, for 32 years, retiring in 1998.
Survivors include his brothers, Norman Plog, Muscatine, Iowa, LaMoine Plog, St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Aleen Watson, Breeze, Ill., and Ida Louise Mohr, Grand Island, Neb. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and brother, Charles.
