Born Jan. 13, 1927 in Cleburne County, Ala., Mr. Faulkner was the son of the late James Robert Faulkner Sr. and Lillie Mae Skinner Faulkner. He was a mechanic and a member of Bethany Christian Church in Carroll County.
A funeral was Saturday at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, with Allen Howard officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
Survivors include his step-daughter, Dianne Harper of Douglasville; son, Ronnie Faulkner of Carrollton; sisters, Wilma Hately of Grantville, Bernice and Jack Graham of Jonesboro, Betty Prescott of West Point; brothers and sister-in-law, James Robert and Doris Faulkner of Birmingham, Ala., Arthur Earl and Nadine Faulkner of Griffin, Olin Elliott and Sandra Faulkner of Lafayette, Ala., Marvin Willie and Imogene Faulkner, Horace Alfred and Krista Faulkner, all of Newnan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
