Judith Harding, 74, of Cottage Grove, OR passed away on December 22, 2013 of heart failure. She was born August 30, 1939, in San Francisco, CA to Calvin and Gladys Skinner Hartzell; Step-father, William Preston. Judy graduated in 1957, from Capachino High School, San Bruno, CA, she served in the US Marine Corp. and was a homemaker. Judy married Frederick W. Harding on April 4, 1959, in San Bruno, CA. She was a longtime resident of Cottage Grove (since 1970). Prior to Cottage Grove she traveled all around the world with her husband Fred, who was serving in the US Air Force, until his retirement. She loved crafts of all types, spending time with her family and especially the grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband Fred Harding, 4 grandchildren; grandson, Britton Hicks, Cottage Grove, OR, grandson, Weston Harding, Kauai, HI, grandson, Levi Harding, Roseburg, OR, granddaughter, Tristin Harding, Roseburg, OR, niece, Melissa Coultrup, Springfield, OR, nephew, Justin Taylor, Springfield, OR, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Harding (1997) and son, Darin Harding (2000).
Inurnment will be held at Fir Grove Cemetery.
