Josephine Bogusinski, 98, formerly of Hop Bottom, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing, Susquehanna, PA. Born February 23, 1916 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Yankowski Bogusinski. She retired from the Bendix Corporation in March of 1978. Being proud of her polish heritage, she had traveled to Poland to visit relatives. She enjoyed listening to Polkas and Lawrence Welk. Her favorite television shows were The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She was the last surviving sibling having been preceded in death by her brothers, Stephen, Stanley and Joseph Bogusinski; her sisters, Helen Mazurkiwicz and Mary Pedrosa. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA Interment, West Side Cemetery, Brooklyn, PA.
