Mrs. Anna Thompson Blair, an employee and bookkeeper at the First National Bank for more than 39 years, died at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Sunday morning about 8 o'clock, following a stroke suffered at her home earlier that morning.

The daughter of Jesse and Rebecca McPheeters Thompson, she was born March 17, 1877, in the Eva Kessler Hadley present home in the northwest part of Danville. She was the last living child of the Thompson family.

For a brief period before going to The First National Bank, Mrs. Thompson was bookkeeper at the Home Lumber Company. She was a member of the Danville Christian Church.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon from the residence on North Indiana Street in charge of the Rev. George W. Smith, assisted by Otis E. Gulley. Burial was in the South Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ernestine Wallace, of Muncie; four grandchildren who were reared in the Thompson home: Mrs. Barbara Lewis, Columbus; Mrs. Julia DeHon of Vincennes; Miss Louise Halfaker, Danville, and Phillip Halfaker of Noblesville.
