Charles M. Hoffman of Warminster passed away on March 12, 1997 at Allegheny University, Bucks County Hospital. He was 69.
He was the beloved husband of Phyllis Thomas Hoffman of Warminster.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Erdman and Alberta Miller Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman was the retired director of the Bucks County Board of Election and Voter Registration. He was also a former Warminster Township Supervisor and served on the Warminster County Republican Executive Committee for the 144th Assembly District.
A former scout master, he was neighborhood commissioner on scouting in Philadelphia. He served his country in the Navy during World War II.
Surviving his wife are a son, Scott Hoffman, of Warminster; two daughters, Lynn Clayton of Warminster and Carol McGill of Warminster; a brother, Erdman Hoffman; five grandchildren, Butch and Mike Clayton, Cindy and Kim McGill, and Kelly Hoffman. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Hoffman; and a sister, Pearl Quitt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, March 26, 1997 at 10 a.m. in the Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Rd., Warminster. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
