She was born to the late Frank and Ethel (Peterson) Walters, Sr. on April 19, 1928.
Lucille graduated from Marinette High School and had worked at Schloegel's Restaurant.
On June 9, 1951, she married her soulmate, Philo Harris in Marinette; he preceded her in death on February 26, 2006.
Together they raised seven children. It was the little things in life that make her the happiest; like baking, cooking for her family and sitting on her front porch reading, eating popcorn and drumsticks and listening to the Brewers. Braeden, her great-grandson, said "she was the greatest grandma we ever had." She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Lucille is survived by seven children: Debra (David) Doubek of Menominee, MI; Mark (Renae) of Menominee, MI; Susan (Jay) Poutinen of Stevens Point, WI; Pamela (Scott) DuBrock of Marinette, WI; Vicki (Don) Kitkowski of Marinette, WI; Kevin (Beth) of Bradenton, FL and Tammy (Scott) Lesandrini of Marinette, WI;
14 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; 14 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren;
two sisters: Doris Walters of Marinette, WI and Shirley Champeau of Menominee, MI;
a brother Leonard (Midge) Walters of Marinette, WI.
In addition to her husband Philo, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Robert, Frank, Jr., Kenneth and Roger.
Visitation and funeral services held at Bethel Lutheran Church. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
