Garnet A. Ashley, 90, passed away on January 8, 2014, from complications related to Parkinson's disease.
She was born August 16, 1923, in Kootenai, Idaho, to John Koot and Ruby Oak.
Her family moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, where she attended Sandpoint High School and met Neil H. Ashley. They graduated in 1941 and were married on December 31, 1946.
The couple lived and worked in a number of states, finally settling in Tucson, Arizona, where they lived for many years.
Garnet is survived by her husband of 67 years, Neil; her children, Lane Ashley, Blake Ashley, and Marcy Ashley Sutton; and her grandchildren, Travis, Nora, Sierra, and Ethan.
She was a wonderful wife and mother.
