"Kathryn S. (Alexander) Baer Aument, 89, of Millersville, formerly of Pequea, entered into rest on Wednesday night, January 8, 2014 at The Glen at Willow Valley, Lancaster after a brief illness. She was the wife of Robert H. Aument for twenty-two years. Her first husband, the late George H. Baer, died in 1988.
Kathryn worked as an assembler for RCA before her retirement in 1986.
Born September 6, 1924 in Martic Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Blanche V. (Schultz) Alexander. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Millersville, where she was a choir member and set up trips for the 55-plus group. Kathryn was a former member of the Marticville United Methodist Church, Pequea, where she was actively involved with the United Methodist Women and enjoyed attending the Annual Rawlinsville Camp Meeting. She was especially known for her Black Walnut Cake.

Kathryn's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home "Sullivan Home," 121 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 (on-site parking with attendants) on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10AM. There will be a viewing held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, Lancaster on Tuesday evening between 7 and 9PM and also on Wednesday between 9 and 10AM. Interment will be in the Marticville Methodist Cemetery, Martic Township, PA. Kindly omit flowers.
