William A. Bell of Pike Township died at Clearfield at 6 o'clock Sunday morning, following an operation for a hernia, sustained while at work at the Roaring Run quarries about two weeks ago. Mr. Bell was a native of this country and was born in the Brooks district near DuBois on February 22, 1879, being aged 54 years, 2 months, 15 days. He was a son of William and Sara Horn Bell. The Funeral was held at the home in Pike Township Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in charge of Rev. A. R. Turner, pastor of the Curwensville M. E. Church. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
