Mr. James (Jim) Leslie Albertson Jr., 61, resident of Bridlewood Dr. died June 14th, 2011 at Hospice Home at High Point.
Mr. Albertson was born October 10th, 1949 in Guilford County, a son to James L. Albertson Sr. and Doris Comer Albertson. A resident of this area all his life, he was a graduate of High Point Central High School and a member of Welch Memorial United Methodist Church. He had worked at Cooper Electrical Construction since 1973 and was Owner and President of ANI Machinery. In 1970 he married the former Brenda Gilliland who survives of the residence.
Also surviving is his mother of High Point; two daughters, Britt Roper and husband Kurt of Cary and Paige Albertson of Trinity; one sister, Debi Asbill of High Point; one brother, Dennis Albertson of High Point; and one grandchild, Reese Roper of Cary.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Tony Casa officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Pallbearers will be Mark Puckett, Tom Kirkman, Ryan DeVore, Harvey Sims, Bruce Watson, Howard Cross, Jeffrey Batten and Mitch Duren. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Brown and George Tate.
