Nancy Jane Souders, 76, of Pleasantville, passed away at 6:17 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2001 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.
Born June 3, 1925 in Edmission, Ky., she was the daughter of Allen and Rose (Dennison) Bratcher.
Survivors include four sons, Allen Ruff of Dugger, Tim Ruff and Lynzie Souders both of Pleasantville and Harry Wright of Linton; four daughters, Christine Marshall of Jasonville, Darlene Manuel of Sullivan, Lesley Stephens of Worthington, and Anna Hunter of Bedford; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Ruff in 1961 and by her second husband, Lynzie Souders in 1985, two daughters, Loretta Linn and Rosemary Danko.
Funeral services will be at Newkirk Funeral Home in Dugger at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Prairie Cemetry.
