John F. Bahr , 77, of 120 Roosevelt Ave., Syracuse ,died Tuesday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born in Syracuse , he was a 1941 graduate of Assumption School. He retired in 1983 after four years as Cathedral Candle Company, working previously at Porter-Cable for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife, the former Theresa Barry; a daughter, Mary M. Brien of Liverpool; a son, Dennis P. of Syracuse ; three grandchildren.
Services: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Carter Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Church. Burial, Onondaga County Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
