He married Agnes Beissel on June 3, 1944 in Pound. Edward was employed as a supervisor for the Graetz Mfg. Company in Pound until his retirement. He also worked for The Coleman Canning Company for many years. Ed was well known for making firewood.
Surviving are his wife Agnes;
one daughter Mary Gocht of Pound, WI;
2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson;
a sister Edna Jashinsky of Pound, WI;
a brother-in-law Donald Tachick of Minocqua, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Esther, Ruth and Irene; one brother John and his sons-in-law Duane Gocht and Donald Badora.
