MANN, Billy Joe, 72, of Louisa County, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his home. Mr. Mann was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of Louisa United Methodist Church, member of AARP and the Blue Ridge Shores Homeowners Association. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mann; son, Phillip Mann of Gainesville, Fla.; stepdaughter, Wendi Powell (Jason) of Fluvanna; brother, Butch Mann (Jeanette) of West Virginia; sister, Kay Harris (Melvin) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jeffery, Andrew, Katy, Jaycob, Brandon and Kayla Mann and Hayley Powell. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, at Louisa United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield.
