MILFORD -- Bette Ann (Permatteo) Cosgrove, 69, of Milford, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at her daughter's home in Acton. She was the wife of Leo Richard Cosgrove, who died in February. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Cecile (Perrier) Permatteo and was raised in Winthrop. She was a graduate of Winthrop High School and the Faulkner Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1986. She had been a resident of Milford since 1971.
She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Medical Assistance until her retirement. She leaves a daughter, Diane M. Clancy and her husband, Brian, of Acton; two sons, Brian L. Cosgrove and his wife, Elizabeth, of Lake Ridge, Va., and Darren H. Cosgrove and his fiancee, Marie Taranto, of Medway; one sister, Claire Kingland of Greenbrae, Calif.; one brother, John Permatteo of West Suffield, Conn.; and five grandchildren, Matthew Clancy, Scott Clancy, Kevin Clancy, Ryan Cosgrove and Jared Cosgrove. The funeral will take place Tuesday, June 7, at 9 a.m. from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 21 West St., Milford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Winter Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Milford.
