GEORGE P 'BUCKY' HARRIS...
age 74, of 527 Broadway, Apt. 508, died at
6 pm Thursday (Jan. 5, 1984) in St. Mary Hospital.
Mr. Harris was born Aug. 15, 1909, in Quincy, a son of George and Veronica Reed Harris. He was employed by International Shoe Co., for 32 years until the company closed and then worked at Monogram Industries until his retirement in 1975. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Loyal Order of Moose and Mart Heinen Club.
Surviving are three sons: Stanley of Mendon, and Michael and Bradley, both of Quincy; a daughter: Mrs. John (Patty) Halbach; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 9:30 am in Duker and Haugh Funeral Home and at
10 am in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Monsignor John Bertman conducting. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
