Funeral services with full military honors were conducted for C. W. O. James H. Alexander at the Arlington National
Cemetery in Washington, D. C. Friday.

He died February 8, in Vietnam of injuries received on January 23. Prior to reporting for duty with the Armed
Forces, he was a resident of Mineral Wells, Texas.

He was graduated from North Salem High School with the Class of 1956. A memorial fund is being made to
the high school library for books in his memory.

He attended the University of Maryland and Indiana State University prior to entering the Armed Forces in
1959. He received his commission at Ft. Rucker, Alabama.

Those attending the military rites included the widow, Dorothy Alexander, Mineral Wells, Texas; his son, Robert Alexander, Hazelton, Pennsylvania; Goldie Siedentop and daughter,Mary Lee Nagal, Knox; Mozell and Ann Alexander, Mr. and Mrs. Shirrel Alexander, all of North Salem; Donald and Walter Hines, Wesley Wainwright,Lizton.
