Died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1988, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 71, and a native of Virginia. He was a retired Allied Corp. employee. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. William Greene. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Sue Ryan Wall, Township, N.J.; two sons, Jack Fuqua, Houston, Texas, and Mike Fuqua, Charleston, W.Va.; a sister, Mary Childs, Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Katherine Fuqua. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Texas Heart Institute Foundation, P.O. Box 20345, Houston, Texas, 77225.
