Grace, or "Nana" to her grandchildren lived up to her name. She was born shortly after her parents' arrival from Norway to their new home in Seattle, Washington, USA. Grace was a wonderful cook, knitter, crocheter, seamstress and oil-painter. Mostly she was highly intelligent, gentle and kind with high moral standards and a soft-spoken demeanor. Highly spiritual and a member of Unity Church, she read self-help books and learned about the healing power of vitamins and minerals and was a believer in positive thinking and prayer... A sweet woman and grandmother ahead of her time. Great lefse and Swedish pancakes!
