Howard W. Perdue (October 28, 1933 - November 12, 2005)

PERDUE, HOWARD W. 72, a retired Attorney, died Saturday, November 12, 2005 in Grapevine.
Funeral: 2:00 PM Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel.
Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials: The family requests, donations be sent to the Humane Society of North Texas or charity of choice.
Howard was born in Dallas Texas in 1933. He graduated from Irving High School and received his BBA from North Texas State College, he attended SMU School of Law. Howard was a loving husband, uncle and friend. Howard was a generous man who has always been recognized as a leader. Howard played professional baseball with a minor league team, of the St Louis Browns, which later became the Baltimore Orioles. He served as Asst. D.A. in Dallas County. He served on the Irving City Council from 1962 to 1966. He was an asst. City Attorney in Amarillo, until he began his private practice in 1970. Howard retired from law in 1991, his hobbies included fishing, hunting, coin collecting and building model trains. He loved animals and sporting events. Howard will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors: those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years, Beth; sisters, Pansy Harmon and Dorles Repass; sister-in-law, Melba Reaves; nephews, Brad Repass and wife Tomi, Brett Repass and wife Sue, Brent Repass, Gary Powell, and Mark Reaves and wife Kim; nieces, Jenifer Johnson, Cheri' Ingram, Leah Miller and husband John; several great-nieces and -nephews.
