Mrs. Bridget Cough, wife of Edward Cough, died at the family home in Watertown, early Thursday morning after a short illness of influenza and pneumonia, aged forty-six years. She had been ill only a week.
She was born on Wolfe Island, and spent her early life there, going to Watertown to live about fifteen years ago and had since resided there. She leaves besides her husband, Edward Cough, two sons, Arthur B. and Raymond Cough, and one daughter,
Miss Florence M. Cough, all of Watertown, and three sisters, Mrs. Patrick Kane and Mrs. Mathew Flynn both of Wolfe Island, and Mrs. Otis W. Robertson, (Emma Lacey) of Carthage, and two brothers, Daniel and John Lacey,
both of Wolfe Island.
The remains were taken to 'Marysville, Wolfe Island, Friday and the funeral was held from the Catholic church Saturday morning at ten o'clock. The interment being made in the Catholic cemetery at that place
