I believe it was intended that F.B.'s wife Lydia be buried with him but it is possible this did not happen. According to "Illinois, Deaths and Stillbirths Index" she died in 1919 and was buried in the Alton Mental Health Center Cemetery instead. If she was moved to Montrose later, no inscription on this stone reflects that.
