Funeral of Thomas Dee, 83, who died in Hotel Dieu Hospital, was held Monday morning from his late residence, Wolfe Island, to Sacred Heart Church, where requiem mass was sung at 11 o'clock by Rev. J.J. Shannon.
Born on Wolfe Island, son of Mr and Mrs Daniel Dee, deceased, resided there all his life. He retired from farming 14 years ago. At one time he was a member of Wolfe Island Township Council.
Survivng are his wife, two sons, Daniel Dee Kingston, and Thomas Dee, Duluth, Minn., one daughter, Mrs John Lacey, Wolfe Island.
Pall bearers were Bernard Dee, George Dee, Francis Dee, John Lacey and Vincent mcGuire. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery with Rev. Father Shannon officiating at the grave.
