Born in County Cork Ireland. Came to America when she was old enough to work, sponsored by her sisters and brother. Married John "Jack" O'KEEFE about 1919. They had four daughters: Catherine, Mary, Julia, and Rita.

Julia and Jack planned to retire to Florida in 1964, but Jack died in December 1963. Julia came to Florida anyway, and she and Jack were eventually buried with her sister Annie and Annie"s husband Jack Troy, who was best friends with Jack O'KEEFE. Two unmarried daughters Catherine and Mary are also buried in adjacent graves.
