Claude Milne Myles "Scotty" Rattray 80, died Wed., Jan. 15, 2014. Born May 28, 1933 in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. A graduate of Forfar Academy, he apprenticed as a dental technician & served in the British Army, stationed in Jamaica. There he met the Mitchell family of Joplin, MO., who sponsored him to immigrate to the US in 1957. He eventually settled in Tulsa. He worked for Haas Dental Lab & Dr. Jim Perry. With an aptitude for sales, he went to work for Fred Jones Lincoln Mercury. In 1959.
He was preceded in death by wife of 49 years, Bonnie Jean Hurst Rattray, his Father Claude Rattray & his Mother, Margaret Milne Rattray, as well as two sisters, May Short & Win Tyrie, all of Scotland & one brother, Ron Rattray of Broken Arrow, OK.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 at First Presbyterian Church 709 S. Boston Ave. Kerr Chapel.
