Frank Pavlechko
November 21, 1924 - January 18, 2014
Sweetwater, Tennessee

Frank Pavlechko, moved forward to be with the Lord on January 17, 2014. He was a member of the Madisonville First Baptist Church. He was 89 years old.

Frank was born in Youngstown, Ohio to poor immigrant parents (Nikolas and Pricilla) who had come from the Ukraine in search of a better life.

During his life, he witnessed the sorrows and challenges of the great depression and Second World War. He was forced to work at an early age to help support his family. Like most young men in the area, he gained employment in the steel industry and worked there as a certified electrician for over 40 years. During those years in Youngstown, he and his wife Stella were blessed with two children Frank and Robert. His son's married and his daughters in laws Nancy and Page were a great comfort to him. He was blessed to see the birth of two grandchildren Sarah and Lucas.

After retirement , he and his wife Stella moved to Tennessee to be closer to their children and grandchildren and maintained a happy home in Madisonville. His faith was strong and he loved the Lord as the Bible directed. Frank was a friend to everyone and did his best to help others. He was a member of the Masonic Order and served in many capacities for over 50 years. Preceded in death by his wife Stella of 45 years,

survivors include sons and daughters-in-laws, Frank and Nancy, Robert and Page, grandchildren, Sarah and Lucas and his close friend Edna.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. He wanted everyone to know that he enjoyed many happy moments while on this earth and appreciated the help and kindness of all his neighbors and friends. He gave a good example and path for Christians to follow and will be missed and remembered by his family and friends as the best Grandpa in the world. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements. Thanks to Stasha L. Pavlechko-Matteson (#48535085) for family links
