CAPE VINCENT EAGLE Thursday, January 31, 1946
Mrs Emma Lacey Robertson, 64, wife of Otis W Robertson, of Carthage, died at 1 Wednesday
morning in Community hospital. West Carthage, where she had been a patient for about a
week. Death was attributed to a cardiac ailment. Mrs Robertson suffered a severe
heart attack January 22 at her home and since had been in a critical condition.
Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a m, in St James' Catholic church, Carthage. The
body will be placed in the vault for burial in St James cemetery in the spring.
Surviving Mrs Robertson are her husband, two daughters, Miss Ina A Robertson and Miss
Ethel E Robertson, both at Home. One son, Harold W Robertson, recently discharged from
naval service; two granddaughters, Eleanor and Marie Ann Robertson; two brothers, John
Lacey, Wolfe Island, Ont, and Daniel Lacey, Kingston, a sister, Mrs Matthew Flynn
Wolfe Island.
Born on 26 … on Wolfe Island, daughter of Michael Lacey and Ann McGlynn
Marriried to Otis Roberson in Cape Vincent, NY in the Catholic church
Following their wedding lived in Cape Vincent later moving to Carthage NY.
