FAYETTE | James W. Taylor, age 76, of Fayette, died January 18, 2014, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T. V. Burroughs and Rev. Jarrett Lovelace officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home of Fayette directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sarah Elizabeth Taylor of Fayette; daughters, Michelle Taylor, Melissa Trimm (Danny) and Melinda "Tiny" Taylor, all of Fayette; sisters, Ellie Collins of Fayette, and Betty Cline of Thomasville; brothers, J. T. Taylor of Kennedy, Therman Taylor of Tuscaloosa, and Gene Ray Taylor of Tuscaloosa; three grandchildren, Nicole Oswalt, Taylor Trimm and Briana Taylor; and five great-grandchildren, Emma, Ella, and Jaxson Oswalt, and Kentlee and Kason Trimm.
James was in the logging business for several Years.
