Private, Company B, 7th Tennessee Cavalry, enlisted in Carroll Co, TN on 8/10/1862 and mustered in Benton Co, TN on 8/17/1862. He was captured at either the battle of Lexington or Trenton, TN in December 1862. He died at parole camp in Columbus, OH (Camp Chase) on 7/21/1863, presumably of disease. Sertain B and William Ephrem Andrews of Company B were his brothers.
