Miss Alice Airy is dead at 59, services Tues.
Miss Alice E. Airy, 59, a retired Clerk at the Story County Treasurer's office, died Sunday afternoon at the Story County Hospital after an illness of four years.
Born May 17, 1910 in Nevada, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Airy. She was a resident of Nevada her entire life.
Miss Airy was a member of the First Christian Church of Nevada.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nina Goodin of Muskogee, Okla. and Mrs. Frances Logsdon of Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Rush officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
