Pearl Olsen Noble

Pearl Olsen Noble of Vancleave died January 19, 2014. Born on February 6, 1931, she lived all of her life in south Mississippi, much of it as a homemaker in Vancleave where she raised her five children. She was a life-long member of Community of Christ and she loved to crochet. When her children left home to start families/careers of their own, she took a job as an apartment manager at several complexes in Pascagoula. She was well loved by all who knew her and hers was a life well lived.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ada Olsen Tanner; father of her children, Leo Noble Jr.; step-father, Roosevelt Tanner; daughter, Sherry Noble and brother and sister-in-law, Louis (Evelyn) Olsen.
She is survived by her children, Elbert (Diana) Noble, Donnell (Vickie) Noble, Kenny (Terri) Noble, Wendell (Teresa) Noble and Donna Noble; grandchildren, Eric (Lisa) Noble, Josh (Amanda) Noble, Kendell Noble, Kaitlyn (Cody) Waltman, Jessica Noble, Justin Noble, Carissa Noble, Sherry (Spence) Key, Celena (Jonathan) Shoemaker and Russell Payne; great-grandchildren, Evan Noble, Olivia Pearl Noble, Kylan Davis and Kylee Key; step great-grandchildren, Samantha Alejandro, Roger (Casey) Varnado, Barney Varnado and Randy Varnado; step great-great-grandchildren, Angel Alejandro, Christian Alejandro, Braylon Johnson, Aime Varnado and Bronson Varnado; brothers and sisters, Clyte Calton, Ellis (Evelyn) Olsen, Zennie (Felton) George, Roy (Agnus) Tanner, Henry (Jean) Tanner, Jimmy (Elaine) Tanner, Charlie (Kay) Tanner and Carl (Marie) Tanner. A special thanks to the staff of Sunplex Subacute Center and Community Hospice.
Visitation will be held at Community of Christ in Vancleave on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 between 1-3 p.m. with the funeral service following. Interment will be at the Community of Christ Cemetery
