Thomas Keefe was born Thomas Borer son of George J Borer (1841 - 1928) FaG #67980097 and Catherine (Frankart) Borer (1843 - 1884) FaG #67980086. I was told by a granddaughter that when Catherine died, that George felt that he couldn't handle an infant with his other children and allowed the Keefe's who were childless to adopt Thomas.
