Funeral services were held Saturday for Ed W. Chapman, of route 3, Delhi, whose death occurred Friday at the Delhi Clinic. The services were conducted by the Rev. Love at the Lamar Baptist Church and burial was in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Carrie Chapman, Delhi; four daughters, Mrs. Emma McDenzie, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Bertha Taylor, Dechard, Tenn.; Mrs. Eugenia Upton, Delhi; Margaret Davis, Dallas, Texas; five sons, Clyde Chapman, San Antonio, Tex.; Clifton Chapman, Delhi; Ira Chapman, Memphis, Tenn.; Dr. Russell Chapman, Steel, Mo.; Dr. Cary Chapman, Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Ida Brenson, Delhi; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Cedric Fletcher, Roy Till, Guy McClain, Billy Joe Chapman, William Till, A. V. Thornton.
