Graveside services for Alvis Yarborough, 68, of Odessa are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating.
Mr. Yarborough died Saturday at Baylor Hospital in Gilmer. He was born March 3, 1923 in San Saba. He married Ella Bates. She died in 1988.
Mr. Yarborough was a WWII Veteran. Survivors include one son, Lloyd Earl of Odessa, one daughter, Jan Walton of Big Sandy, one brother, A.J. Yarborough of Odessa, three sisters:
Dorothy Enloe of Shoulsbyville, California, Helen Marshall of Brush, Colorado, and Myrtle Lou Morrison of Oklahoma; and three grandchildren.
