Services for Sam N. Adams, 92, Cadiz, will be at 2pm Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Alfred Williams officiating and burial in East End Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4pm today at the funeral home.
He died at 7:15am Tuesday at Trigg County following a short illness.
A native of Trigg County, he was born Oct. 14, 1896, son of the late John Quincy and Ada Mavis Litchfield Adams. A member of Cadiz United Methodist Church, he was retired from Servel, Inc. of Evansville, Ind., a Navy veteran of World War I and a member of Lessing Masonic Lodge No 464, Evansville.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Bush Adams; three brothers, Johny Adams, Oakdale, Calif., and Tom and Douglas Adams, both of Hopkinsville; and three sisters, Elizabeth Bush, Cadiz, Katie Powell, Bowling Green, and Audrey Marquess, Gallatin, Tenn.
