Mrs. Michael Staudt, 71 (photo), of route 2, Manitowoc, died Wednesday
noon at the Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer
funeral home and at 9:30 at the St. Ann Catholic church, Francis Creek,
the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Staudt, nee Elizabeth Staudt, was born in Two Rivers in 1873 and in
1894 was married to Mr. Staudt and they located on the homestead farm.
The couple observed their golden wedding in 1944. She was a member of St.
Ann Christian Mothers of Francis Creek.
Survivors are the husband; two sons, Ray of this city, Peter of route 2,
Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Leist and Mrs. Herbe Schuler both
of this city; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body is lying in state at the Pfeffer funeral home where the rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday evening.
