She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Ray Underwood.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary M. Manspile and companion, Tommy Myers, Salem, Melissa Smith and husband, B. J., Salem; a son, Earnest R. Underwood, Salem; grandchildren, Melinda, Kyle, Glenn, Mitzi, Don, Mitzi, Joey, Alicia, Amanda, Joshua; brother, Tommy Dowdy, Blacksburg; sister, Louise Price, Blacksburg.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem
